Rules of the Inter-Journal Writing Competition |

All first-year students with a minimum GPA of 2.2 and who have successfully completed LW&R and Moot Court or Legal Analysis, are eligible to participate on the six Hastings journals. First-year students who wish to participate on a journal during their second year are required to enter the Inter-Journal Writing Competition, which begins this school year on the first day after the last scheduled exam. |

The Inter-Journal Writing Competition packet is made available for download from the Scholarly Publications website at www.uchastings.edu/pubs/writcomppacket.htm at the start of the competition. A paper copy of the Inter-Journal Writing Competition packet will be also available at the Scholarly Publications department office, 100 McAllister Street, room 2304. (The 2006 IJWC concluded on May 30, 2006. The 2007 competition has yet to be scheduled.) |
