Immigration Law - (Upper division course) (Fall, 2007) This is the main page for the immigration course. You should check this page on a regular basis. Presentations. This page contains the in-class Powerpoint presentations. I generally do not post them here until after I have shown them in class. Syllabus Page. This page includes the course syllabus and will be updated on a regular basis. After the first class and the initial assignment, I will post a more extended syllabus. Class Notes. These are materials that are extensions of our in-class discussions. It may include news items, statistical data or other material which I decide to post as a way of clarifying on a point made in class. Handout Page. This page is reserved for materials which are either shown or passed out in class. This way, you will always be able to get your hands on them by coming to the web page. News Page. Given the times that in which we live there is a great deal of news relating to immigration subjects. I will be posting things that I think are relevant to our class discussions. If you find something interesting forward it to me and I may post it here. Another source for news is the "web board." Notices Page. From time to time I will be posting items that I think you might consider of interest. Status Page. I will try to update this as soon as possible after each class so that you know where we left at the last class. Web Board. This is the web based discussion page which is accessible by going to the "Newsgroup" link located on the main page. From time to time I will be asking you to post your reactions to reading assignment on the web board. In addition, the web board is there for you to ask questions outside of class to me or to your classmates, or to react to items that we discussed in class. The Web board is for you to use and will hopefully stimulate your thinking on the subject matter. |
